April’s journey into the healing arts began in 1999 upon graduating from the Inland Massage Institute in Washington State. Since then she has been a graduate of the Institute for Phenomenal Touch Massage (Boulder, Co), School of Natural Medicine (Boulder), the Advanced Colonic Techniques School (Boulder), NOLS Wilderness First Response, Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, and Vine Studios PMU Academy. During this time she has maintained a private practice, has been a college teacher of massage, massage franchise trainer, and holistic health enthusiast and educator.
Her passion lies in helping others find balance in their bodies through natural methods, and co-discovering the skills which will assist them in becoming their own healer. She teaches that healing is a multidimensional process which requires self exploration into one’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental territories, and that these facets are interconnected and inseparable. She promotes that the body is designed to heal itself if given the proper environment, and wellness is the result of living a lifestyle supportive of our biology in the ways which nature has intended for us.
With each client her approach is wholly unique to the individual, and strategies are developed based upon where the client is at and what they aim to achieve.
